In many countries used edible oils from the catering sector are collected and burnt in conventional boilers with or without fossil fuels, or used as a substitute for diesel in cars and diesel power plants(reciprocating engine plants).Waste edible oils are also used as a highly productive feed in biomass anaerobic digesters or as a feed stock for production of animal feed.
